Jonathan Webb is the CEO of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), bringing nearly two decades of public health experience to the role. He has worked across local, state, and national levels to advance equity, improve health outcomes, and address challenges like maternal and infant mortality, childhood obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
Jonathan's career includes roles in local health departments—such as Chicago's Office of Epidemiology and Evanston’s Community Health Division—and over a decade in the nonprofit sector, where he has led strategy, built partnerships, and implemented programs for organizations like AMCHP, Feed the Children, and the American Diabetes Association. He serves as Co-Chair of the March of Dimes’ Mom Baby Action Network National Advisory Committee and holds advisory roles with the American Board of Pediatrics Foundation, Nurse Family Partnerships, Child First, and the Pritzker Prenatal to Three Initiative. As a 2024 Aspen Health Fellow, Eisenhower Fellow, and member of the inaugural Obama Leaders USA cohort, Jonathan prioritizes centering community voices, creating equitable healthcare environments and searching for opportunities to lean into change making. A proud husband and father of two, Jonathan is dedicated to advancing care for women, children, and families, including those with special healthcare needs. |
