Each year, the Heartland Conference brings together representatives from community, academic, industry, public, and private sectors across Region VII (Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska) to share best practices, celebrate successes, foster networking, and learn from one another.
This year, we are excited to announce the theme of the 17th Heartland Conference: Why We Can’t Wait: Reimagining Resilience Across the Heartland.
We invite you to submit a proposal to present your work, expertise, and best practices. Whether you are addressing health disparities, innovative solutions, community-based initiatives, policy strategies, or research findings, we encourage submissions that explore regional efforts to bridge gaps in health equity.

Maternal, Paternal, & Child Health Track
In collaboration with the Kansas Birth Equity Network, we invite you to submit a proposal to the Maternal, Paternal, and Child Health (MPCH) Track. Through this track, we aim to elevate regional and local efforts to advance MPCH and curate a space for cross-sector learning, community engagement, and collaboration. Partner with us in convening a regional conversation on maternal, paternal, and child health. Together, we can elevate efforts across the region, learn from each other, and build sustainable connections to each other.
