Birth Equity Summit & Celebrate Day 366
The Birth Equity Summit & Celebrate Day 366 is an opportunity to create awareness of Black maternal and infant health while celebrating babies' first birthdays. This summit will include a keynote from Dr. Dana-Ain Davis, a parent panel of fathers & birthing persons, presentations on maternal and child health work in the region and mental health, and closes with a Black healing and restoration session. Birth Justice Walk/Run
The Summit will also be hosting a Birth Justice Walk/Run the morning of the summit from 7a.m. - 8:30a.m. starting at the hotel where the summit will be.
Black Baby Photo Contest
Kansas Birth Equity Network is also hosting a Black Baby Photo Contest along with the Birth Equity Summit & Celebrate Day 366.
The first 10 babies to enter the contest and attend the virtual 1/2-day KBEN summit will receive a $25 gift card
